We Build the Deterministic Semantics of Legal Interpretation
Uncovering the formal foundations of legal reasoning through execution of semantics.
About Vera Semantica Iuris
Our Mission
Vera Semantica Iuris P.S.A. (VSI) was founded to reform the legal system by moving from lexical, word-based interpretation toward a semantic, meaning-based approach.
Today's reliance on linguistic ambiguity and informal "dominant case law" practices leads to inconsistent decisions and undermines constitutional principles.
Our mission is to build a new legal framework grounded in precise semantic representation, enabling clear, consistent, and fully deterministic legal interpretation.
Our Approach
We address the ambiguity of today's legal system by replacing lexical, subjective interpretation with a fully semantic and deterministic model of law. Instead of relying on probabilistic LLMs or inconsistent human judgment, we develop a formal representation of legal norms that eliminates randomness, bias, and ambiguity.
Our AI system interprets law in a way that is unequivocal, executable, and explainable , deriving legal consequences deterministically, like a correctly defined programming language, while providing transparent reasoning behind every conclusion.
The World Needs a Deterministic Legal System
Law today is inherently ambiguous. Different interpretations lead to divergent decisions, undermining consistency and eroding trust in public institutions. As courts and agencies increasingly question one another's rulings, the system risks losing structural stability.
Incremental fixes cannot resolve this. Only a new, semantic foundation can.
Our Projects
Ongoing initiatives transforming legal interpretation through semantic analysis
SRP - Semantic Representation of Law
Guardian of Direct Democracy
Semantic Representation of Law (SRP) serves as a fundamental framework for protecting society from arbitrary judicial decisions, ensuring that human dignity remains the cornerstone of legal interpretation. By eliminating ambiguity and subjectivity, SRP creates a transparent, deterministic legal system where rights are clearly defined and consistently applied.
LexBuilder
Semantic Legal Document Construction
LexBuilder is an intelligent system for creating legal documents using reusable semantic templates. It enables lawyers to construct precise, consistent, and structurally correct documents by combining domain ontologies, parameterized clauses, and formalized legal knowledge. By capturing the logic and structure of legal reasoning in modular components, LexBuilder streamlines drafting processes and improves document quality, clarity, and compliance.
